Instrument created by luthier Ion Munteanu's from 2022. Made with high-quality materials such as Bosnian spruce and flamed maple. Romanian luthiers are known for their high work quality and relatively accessible prices. Each instrument has its own personality, with unique visual and sound characteristics. The instrument is finished with an oil varnish, equipped with 'Thomastik' strings, and each double bass undergoes a final inspection at the Jēkabsons violin workshop. The workshop is run by professional bassist and violin maker Juris Jēkabsons. It is also possible to order a double bass with more strings (5). The price does not include a doublebass case.
